The Junior Fellows Program provides opportunities for individuals to work as research assistants to the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace’s senior associates. Fellows have the opportunity to conduct research for books, co-author journal articles and policy papers, participate in meetings with high-level officials, contribute to congressional testimony and organize briefings attended by scholars, journalists, and government officials. The fellowship provides a paid full-time position for 1 year that pays approximately $40,000 with full benefits.

- 11-13 per year
Eligibility
- Be a U.S. citizen or attending a university located in the U.S.
- All applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. for 12 months from approximately August 1 through July 31 of the following year
- Be a graduating senior or have graduated during the last academic year and have not started graduate studies
- Be interested in one of the Endowment’s programs, which are detailed on the website
